TA1 titanium tube applications:
TA1 titanium tube has light weight, high strength, excellent mechanical properties. It is widely used in heat exchange equipment, such as tube type heat exchanger, coiled tube type heat exchanger, coil heat exchanger, condenser, evaporator and pipelines. Many of the nuclear power industry make the titanium tube as its standard tube.
TA1 titanium tube characteristics:
1. TA1 titanium tube has plasticity. The elongation rate of high purity titanium tube can reach 50 ~ 60%, and the shrinkage ratio can reach 70 ~ 80%. Although the strength of high purity titanium tube is low, but the pure industrial titanium containing a small amount of impurities and alloying elements can significantly enhance its mechanical properties, so that its strength can be compared with the high strength. That is to say, as long as there is a small amount of interstitial impurities and other metal impurities in the industrial pure titanium tube, it can be said that it has high strength and good plasticity.
2. The specific strength (strength to weight ratio) of industrial pure titanium tube is very high in the metal structure material, its strength is equivalent to steel, but its weight is only 57% of steel.
3. The heat resistance of TA1 titanium tube is very strong, and it can keep good strength and stability in the atmosphere of 500 degrees centigrade.
4. Titanium tube has good low-temperature performance, even in the ultra low temperature -250 degrees Celsius, it still has high impact strength, resistance to high pressure shock.
5. Strong corrosion resistance, because its affinity for oxygen is particularly large, which can form a layer of dense oxide film on the surface of titanium to protect titanium from corrosion. Therefore, titanium has good stability in acidic, alkaline, neutral salt solution and oxidizing medium, and has better corrosion resistance than the existing stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals.
